Refund policy
WHAT can be returned?
Returned products can only be accepted if they are in the same condition when they were purchased. If the packaging is broken, they will not be accepted for return nor will fitted hard parts. If a product has been sent by mistake or the product does not fit the bike it says it fits in the fitment tool, then we will send a replacement part if available.
All items returned for a refund or exchange must follow the below checklist for return:
- Within 30 days of initial purchase
- All clothing and luggage must be unworn/unused and unwashed
- Must be returned with all original tags and packaging undamaged in new condition
- Item is not listed on our non-returnable items list below
- Items must not have been fitted to a bike or be in used condition
We will under no circumstances accept back the following items:
- Dangerous goods items
- Electrical items
- Sale items
- Gift cards
- Some health and personal care items
Please see the list below for things to avoid ensuring your return is accepted:
- When trying on boots please do not stand on your foot pegs as some sharp pegs can mark/damage boot soles and your return might not be accepted. If the boots do not fit or feel comfortable on the ground, they will feel no different on the bike.
- If you are trying helmets on, please remove your makeup first. Your makeup will stain the cheek pads and your return may not be accepted.
- Returns affected by makeup, perfume, deodorants, or body odour will not be accepted.
- Items, like chains will not be accepted once they have been removed from their clear plastic packages. You should usually be able to compare the new item with the old/broken item while it is still in the manufacturer's packaging. We do understand that this is unavoidable in some circumstances.
- If you damage the retail package of an item your return may not be accepted. Please do not apply tape or labels to any packaging.
- Please ensure all returned clothing items are free from marks, stains and rips as they may not be accepted for return if received damaged (unless faulty). All tags must still be attached.
- Any return which is not in an acceptable condition will be sent back at the expense of the customer, please ensure all items are in new & resaleable condition to avoid your return being rejected.
DANGEROUS GOODS
Safe2Ride cannot accept returns of dangerous good items as all necessary paperwork does not cover return freight.
If your order arrives damaged in transit please take photos of the damage and contact us before and after opening the packaging to ensure the correct procedure is followed when rectifying the situation.

Please contact us to initiate a return or exchange before returning the product. Products that are returned without prior consultation will not be accepted for return or exchange.

SHIPPING for returns?
Postage expenses for returns are not covered by Safe2Ride unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.
The customer is responsible for any costs incurred in the return or exchange of any items. Please note that Safe2Ride is not responsible for any local taxes or currency conversion for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
CREDIT for returns?
Refunds will be made to the original purchase method. If you'd prefer a credit we can issue you a voucher for our store. The voucher will be for the amount of the product purchased less the original cost of shipping the item.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us.
Sale items (if applicable):
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable) :
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to initiate a warranty claim please contact us.
Packing materials?
Items must be returned in their original packaging, unused and in original condition.
Order cancellation
Orders are processed automatically and cannot be cancelled once shipped. Please choose your items carefully before placing your order.
